I am Sarah, sydney based illustrator. I was born and raised in Bangladesh, a beautiful South Asian country on the Bay of Bengal. I moved to Australia more than a decade ago and currently live in a very picturesque suburb of Blue Mountains. I am a software engineer by profession, but I have always been in love with art. I have been sketching and drawing since I was a kid. I discovered my love for illustration during the pandemic years. I started drawing regularly, which slowly turned into a serious passion. Though most of my artwork is digital, I also draw using traditional media.

I grew up surrounded by vibrant colors, with festivities and decorations that sparked joy and inspiration. This vibrant environment greatly influences my work, making it colorful and lively. I am currently working towards becoming a professional children’s book illustrator. At the moment, I am illustrating a YA chapter book and my first children’s picture book.
